Visit San Antonio Staff & Partners Take Historic Tour of Ft. Sam Houston!

Mr. Bill Manchester, Historian for the Air Education Training Command, Mr. Patrick Howard, Historian for the 502nd Air Base Wing and Ms. Melissa Fahrni, Protocol Officer for US Army North, hosted Visit San Antonio staff and partners on a tour of the historic fort on Tuesday, May 23. The tour included site visits of the Ft. Sam Houston Museum, the US Army Medical Museum, the Quadrangle, the Lincoln Military Residence Center and just a few of the more than 800 Historical buildings located on the post.  The museums are open to the public and many of the venues are available for private events. Individuals and families may request access through the Visitor Center located at the Walter’s Gate off of IH-35.
