Certified Tourism Ambassador Program

The CTA program is a multi-faceted certification program that serves to inspire frontline hospitality employees and volunteers to turn every visitor encounter into a positive experience.  Currently more than 2,000 CTAs in San Antonio are making connections with our guests – reinforcing our reputation as friendly city.  In addition, ambassadors stay current on San Antonio’s many assets while enjoying private receptions, free tours, networking events and exclusive freebies and discounts.

By supporting the CTA program, San Antonio demonstrates a high level of commitment to visitors. Employees earn the credentials to further their careers and employers benefit by boosting their customer service and employee morale. CTAs really are the “concierges of our city,” and as business leaders in the hospitality industry, partners can also support the program by providing attraction or business discounts or freebies for CTAs. This also helps in recommendations for visitors, as well as providing perks for those who become certified. Partners can also host a CTA training at their venue or let their staff participate as trainers. Learn more on the CTA page or contact Lorie Kennedy at 210-354-7999 or PartnerSA@satx.rr.com.
